Here comes the new and hype Coffee Shop in Rawamangun district, East Jakarta. It is called as "Hegemony Coffee & Eatery". Not only selling coffee, this place also offer various kind of light-meal or some snack. The place itself is also easy to find.
Hegemony consisted of 2 area, indoor and outdoor. I recommend to choose the indoor seats because it was cool and air conditioned. The interior is a little bit shady but comfy enough to work or to study. Woody-themed, and the walls are decorated by several quotes and paintings.
When I came to visit Hegemony, I ordered two kinds of the most-ordered drinks. I ordered the "Green Tea Latte" and "Caffee Latte". I wasn't ordering the meals or snacks because I've had my lunch so I think that I was just going to sit down and enjoy the ambiance.

The Coffee
My first sip is the "Green Tea Latte". In my opinion, It's not the best way to be served because the consistency is too watery, not thick as normal latte does. The taste of the matcha is a little bit too light, so the milk and cream are covering it. The latte art itself is not too strong and getting blurry because of the foam which hasn't formed perfectly. A lot of improvements are needed for this latte.
My second one, I started to take my "Caffee Latte". For this latte, I'm quite satisfied. The coffee itself is strong, the foam was thick, and I still can taste the bitterness mixed with creamy taste like the lattes I usually drink. Hands Up for this latte! Recommended!
By the way, I think Hegemony could be one of the most successful Coffee Shop in Rawamangun, if only they could serve the hype-latte better such as the Green Tea Latte or the Red Velvet Latte. And the "Blend in" with the customer are also required to gain customer's respect. Because Coffee is not always for it's taste but it's worth to have for the moments.
